Early October I traveled cross country with my friend Caroline and helped her move from Massachusetts to California. It was a great trip and I was glad I could finally go out west and see what the rest of the country is like. We were on a tight schedule but got to see the Grand Canyon. It was amazing. After seeing it I've heard a lot of people say that it looks fake, and I have to say that's exactly how I felt upon first seeing it. My mind just could not fully comprehend its majesty.
Along with road tripping this month I took a few attempts at Inktober. I wasn't able to get in as many drawings as I would have liked, certainly no where near 31, but I did enjoy participating this year. Most of the work I do is digital, and blessed by the CTRL+Z shortcut, yet it was nice to return to the crash free and driver-less medium of pen and paper.
